Eight mole-men lived in a boat in the middle of a sky-lake. These mole-men lived on birds they caught with long poles they would stick out. They would bonk these birds on the head so they would fall just in time to land in the boat. It was so pretty. When the birds got in the boat they would say hey birds we're hungry & hey & hey until they emptied their pockets & gave food. This was a terrible way to live but the mole-men were doing the best they could. They met a lot of interesting characters up there. They met a fire-salad that they tried to eat & nearly burned them right up! What about the boat! they cried. What about the boat! They met a seamstress with wings who sewed up their mouths until they laughed & then pulled the stitches out & laughed too. They met another mole-man named bug-mover & Sara.
